Yutori Capital
Calm sea in black and white, with light on the distant horizon

The family office for those who don't have one yet.

What the wealthiest families have in-house, scaled to your wealth. We help you organize and protect what you have built, calmly and by the book.

The luxury of deciding in your own time.

Yutori is a Japanese word for breathing room: the leeway that lets you act calmly. It is the opposite of the urgency under which most decisions about money are made.

With us, you get that breathing room back. We look at the whole picture, think long term, and focus on preserving what you have built. You decide on your own schedule, not someone else's.

An unbroken circle: all of your wealth in one view.

Your wealth is in many hands. You will see all of it.

  • The bank offers you products.
  • The accountant files your taxes.
  • The lawyer handles whatever is urgent.
  • And you look at it when you find the time.

When an important decision comes up, you will make it with all the facts in front of you. That is what a family office is for.

Tend to your work, and to what it has earned you.

People who have built a practice, a company, or a career give it all of their time. The wealth it generates is left waiting, and money left waiting rarely sits still: it gets scattered, costs you more than it should, or takes on risks no one has measured.

If one of these rings a bell, we can start there.

  • An apartment that has sat empty for months because no one is handling the rental.
  • Cash in an account no one has checked for cost or tax treatment.
  • A boat or a second home that is used a few days a year and paid for every month.
  • Loans between family members or with your own company, with no paperwork.
  • A company abroad, set up in twenty minutes, and no clear idea of its obligations in Spain.
  • An inheritance on the horizon, and nothing in order yet.

Time for your work and for your family.

While you run your business, your wealth gets a plan.

Business owners and professionals. High incomes, impossible schedules, and wealth that has grown without a plan. We bring the order you never had time for.

A succession that is planned and talked through.

Families. Founders of family businesses nearing retirement, several heirs, and decisions best made before the calendar makes them for you.

Short careers, lasting decisions.

Athletes. Going from earning little to earning a lot in just a few years is the most delicate stage. We help you organize what you earn today with an eye on life after your career.

When success arrives, so do the offers.

Artists and creators. We review every offer before you sign. And you will have an easy answer for anyone who pushes: "I never sign anything without running it by my team."

Inheriting, with someone by your side.

Heirs. Taxes, paperwork, and decisions you cannot afford to improvise, with support from day one.

Everything in one place. The decision is yours.

One plan for everything you own: the tax, legal, succession, and real estate side of your wealth, along with your banking relationships, coordinated from Madrid.

Organize.

  • What you own and where, in writing. Financial assets, real estate, companies, debt, taxes, expenses, family structure, and goals.
  • What your unused assets cost you. Empty apartments, cash no one has reviewed, and assets that only generate expenses. We explain in writing what each one costs you, and you decide what to do.
  • You call us, and we talk to everyone else. We coordinate your accountant, your lawyers, and your bank, working from official statements and deeds, not screenshots. Instructions to your bank always come from you.

Protect.

  • When the Spanish tax agency asks, you will have the paperwork. With the law firm Santana Lorenzo Abogados, we review your tax returns and plan your taxes within the law.
  • Your estate, prepared well in advance. Family succession and Spanish inheritance tax, thought through early so that your wealth passes to your heirs in an orderly way, with less room for conflict.
  • Loans and contracts, in writing. We formalize loans between family members or with your company, on market terms and with all the paperwork in order.

Decide in your own time.

  • Investments outside Spain, reported. We support you on the legal and tax side: structure, contracts, filings, and documentation for each closing.
  • Eight questions before you sign. We review the contracts, costs, tax treatment, and fine print of any offer. We do not assess whether investing in a specific financial product is right for you.
  • A snapshot of your wealth, every year. Periodic reports and an annual review that compares today's snapshot with last year's.

What is urgent, what can go, and what can wait.

Financial assets, real estate, companies and shareholdings, debt and financing, recurring income and expenses, taxes, family and succession structure, goals, liquidity, and risks.

Before taking a single step, we look at everything. The result is a written assessment.

Investing abroad, reporting in Spain.

If you decide to invest outside Spain, you will know in advance what to report and when. With Santana Lorenzo Abogados, we support you on the legal and tax side: we help you weigh whether it makes more sense to invest as an individual or through your company, we put any loans in writing on market terms, we keep the required filings on schedule, including Form 720 (Modelo 720, Spain's information return on assets held abroad) when it applies, and we gather the documentation for each closing.

Everything in your name or your company's, and reported.

Mist-covered mountain with trees in the background

Offers will keep coming, but you won't review them alone.

A friend's startup, the once-in-a-lifetime property, the miracle scheme making the rounds on Instagram. Before you sign, we review the contracts, costs, and tax treatment, and we tell you frankly what the fine print says. The decision is always yours.

The eight questions we ask

  • Who is proposing it, and what do they gain?
  • Who regulates it?
  • What documents will you sign?
  • What does it cost, and who earns a commission?
  • How is it taxed in Spain?
  • When and how can you get out?
  • Are there conflicts of interest?
  • What will you have to report?

Yutori Capital is not an investment firm and does not provide investment advice, portfolio management, or the reception, transmission, or execution of orders. If your situation requires one of these services, you would engage an authorized firm directly, and you can check its authorization at cnmv.es, the website of Spain's securities regulator (CNMV).

From the first conversation to the full picture.

First, we listen. If you decide to move forward, we gather the paperwork and tell you in writing what the assessment costs. We hand you the full picture, what we would do first, and a proposal for ongoing support. Then we stay with you through whatever you decide to set in motion, with periodic reports and a review every year.

Before we begin, you will know what it costs.

Fees agreed in writing. The assessment is a flat fee. If you decide to move forward, ongoing support is billed as a fixed monthly retainer based on the scope and complexity of the work. The term and the conditions for ending the engagement are set out in your proposal.

Calm dark water with golden reflections

Your money never passes through our hands.

  • We do not hold or move your money. You sign directly with the bank, the fund manager, or the other party to each transaction.
  • We are not a bank or a product platform. We have no catalog to sell.
  • We do not provide investment services. If your situation requires them, you would engage an authorized firm directly.
  • We do not promise returns. Anyone who does is selling you something.
  • We do not engineer tax shortcuts. If a structure needs to be hidden, it is not for you.
  • We do not rush you. Important decisions are made with time to spare.

You will always know who to call.

The same people are with you from the first meeting to the last, with legal and tax backing from Santana Lorenzo Abogados.

Questions before you begin.

What is a family office?

It is the office that coordinates a family's wealth-related affairs: real estate, companies, taxes, succession, and relationships with banks and advisors. The wealthiest families have their own. Yutori brings that same coordination to people whose wealth does not warrant a dedicated office, without providing investment services.

Do you hold or manage my money?

No. Your money stays in your accounts, in your name or your company's, and instructions always come from you. We organize the information, coordinate your advisors, and support you.

Will you sell me financial products?

We have no products to sell. Yutori Capital is not an investment firm. If your situation calls for investment advice, you would engage an authorized firm directly, and the final decision is always yours.

Who handles the legal and tax work?

Santana Lorenzo Abogados, the law firm headed by Margarita Santana Lorenzo. Yutori coordinates the work, and the firm carries it out.

How do you charge?

We agree on fees in writing before we begin. The assessment comes first, for a flat fee. Then, if you decide to move forward, ongoing support is billed as a fixed monthly retainer based on the scope and complexity of the work. The term and the conditions for ending the engagement are set out in the proposal.

What if I invest outside Spain?

We support you on the legal and tax side: the right structure, the contracts, the required filings, such as Form 720 (Modelo 720, Spain's information return on assets held abroad) when it applies, and the documentation for each closing, so that everything is reported.

What do I need for the first conversation?

All you need to do is tell us about your situation. Before we meet, we will let you know whether that first conversation has a fee. If you decide to move forward, we will tell you which documents to gather and what the assessment costs.
